Our Polish-American story

Born and raised on separate continents, Mary Grace (a native Midwesterner) and Tomek (a native of Poland) met in college in St. Louis in 2017. We got married and settled down in the US, but travel is a huge part of our lives, including frequent trips to Poland to visit family and explore new corners of the country.

Over the years, we have brought numerous friends and family members along to also fall in love with Poland’s beautiful landscapes and rich culture, and we have connected with countless others who have expressed a dream to visit Poland someday. We started Pierogi Trails out of a passion for connecting Americans with all the beauty and fun Poland has to offer.

As a Masters-level historian, specializing in Polish history, Tomek will utilize his rich knowledge of the country to tailor your perfect trip, while Mary Grace, a therapist by day, will ensure your experience is comfortable, accessible, and plenty of fun.

There was scarcely an hour that I wasn't taking pictures; there was so much that I wanted to save and remember.

I had the most incredible trip to Poland thanks to our wonderful tour guides. It was really special to be able to travel Poland with the help of a Polish citizen and have truly unique experiences. I would not have been able to do the things we did without their guidance.
